Domenico Galdiero is an electronic engineering student at the Polytechnic of Turin and a 22-year-old entrepreneur with a passion for electronics and innovation. He is the Italian winner of Red Bull Basement University 2018 and he participated in the Red Bull Basement Global Workshop that was held in Berlin with his idea: Dropper. Dreaming of improving today's society through technology, Dropper creates devices and platforms for people counting. The goal is to manage the overcrowding of premises open to the public, allowing through different solutions to manage and study the influx of people.
Dropper is a start-up currently pre-incubated at the Politecnico di Torino's innovative business incubator (i3P).
Marcello Ascani was born in Rome on October 27, 1997, he attended art school and is a full-time Youtuber.
Marcello opened his YouTube channel when he was still fifteen and after several attempts it became a diary of his whole life.The channel has become a diary where he tells what he learns trying to be inspiring, useful and an example for his follower, talking about all those aspects that he believes are neglected and he does so by traveling the world.
Gian Luca Comandini is one of the main tech communicators and one of the first to invest in blockchain and social media in Italy. In addition to his academic career, he has been a speaker at several TEDx and hosts a radio show on technology and economics on Radio 2. He is a member of the government task force, chosen by the Minister of Economic Development to outline the national strategy in the blockchain field. In 2019 he was included by Forbes among the most influential Under 30 leaders of the future.
Paolo Landoni is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Turin Polytechnic. He carries out research, training and consultancy activities for companies, hybrid organizations, non-profits and governments on the topics of Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a focus on Project Management, Open Innovation, Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics. He coordinates the Social Innovation Monitor (SIM) research team which publishes reports on incubators and accelerators and other reports for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He founded and mentored many startups and non-profit organizations including the Social Innovation Teams (SIT) community.
Roberto Rosati is Chief Business Officer and Business Partner at TMP Group, where he leads the Experience Marketing area. 15 years in the experience marketing sector, dedicated to the production of major sporting events and dedicated to the Corporate sector. Roberto was Event Manager and Communications Manager for important national and international sports productions and committees and in 2015 he co-founded Eventitalia Network and Sportellence in 2018 - dedicated to the production of events and Experience Marketing. A member of the Board of Young Entrepreneurs of Turin, Roberto also coordinated the foundation of Snowboom, a start-up that aims to improve the digital tourism and sports offer for winter sports.
